The Neighborhood is about to air an episode that was meant to be a backdoor pilot for a spinoff.
However, the spinoff of the fan-favorite CBS comedy series The Neighborhood was scrapped by the network. (Find out why, according to Cedric the Entertainer.)
The series would have been introduced during the Season 7 finale on Monday (May 5). It was supposed to star Sheaun McKinney, Marcel Spears, Justin Long, Kara Royster, Angelique Cabral and Hunter King.

In the episode, called “Welcome to Venice,” The Butlers and Johnsons help Malcolm start a new chapter in a new city that, while just across town, is worlds away from the neighborhood.
The episode stars Beth as Gemma, Marcel as Marty, Max Greenfield as Dave, Justin as Bruce, Skye Townsend as Courtney, Angelique as Lisa, Sheaun as Malcolm, Tichina Arnold as Tina and Cedric as Calvin.

The episode airs Monday, May 5 at 8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT on CBS, and will be streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs.)
